(The 11th week) :(

Yo! This week was really nothing. My camera lens is broken!!!! I don't have any picture for this week. This week, I traded off with Elder Kwoen again. It was so awesome being his companion. We knocked many doors! and we got an investigator. If you want to know more about a Thai investigator... A Thai investigator is good. This week, I taught her the Plan of Salvation. This answered her questions in her mind. She loved it. I invited her to get baptized. At first time, she agreed to get baptized on August 13th but at that night I taught her, she called her family in Thailand and told them that she will change the religion. Her family doesn't agree with her so she changed her mind to not get baptized. I feel really sad for that. however, she told me she still wants to learn more about the gospel. that's awesome. I pray hard for her and I hope that one day, she will be able to come back to God's house again. I know that Heavenly Father loves me and everyone. I love you all!! Keep praying!!

(The 10th week) Hello my 2nd transfer

G'day everybody from Thailand and all around the world. How's it goin? I'm great here. This week was so great! I had a good opportunity to met a Thai woman(New investigator) at a Thai restaurant in Ropes Crossing area. She seemed very interested in the gospel. At first time I met her, she cooked papaya salad for me. its taste was sooooo good! she told me where she bought the ingredients so I can buy it and cook it myself HAHAHA! She works in the Thai restaurant which is called Noodle Hut. I talked to her a little bit and invited her to learn about the  gospel. She agreed to learn the gospel with us but she told me she wanted to learn in Thai!!! because she wouldn't understand the words of the church in English. We made an appointment to meet and learn her on Friday. On Friday, she went to wait us early at the Thai restaurant. She was so excited to meet us. I taught her about the gospel of Jesus Christ, Faith in Christ, how to repent, baptism by immersion for the remission of sins, the Holy Ghost, enduring to the end, and I taught her how to pray so she can contact to God. She is so awesome. She understood so fast. I can really say that the spirit was so strong to help her to learn at that time. While I was teaching her, my companion was like.. what the language in the world are you speaking.. HAHAHA because he doesn't understand Thai. but I always translated to him in English. It was a good lesson with her. I love that.

Last Sunday, TJ got the interview for his baptism He's passed! and he is going to get baptized in next 2 weeks! I'm very excited for him YAY!! I'm so glad to help him understand about the gospel. even if it was just a little bit because my English is not good. Well well, I learn English in every opportunity I have and I rely on the Lord that He will help me learning English. Now! I just started reading the Book of Mormon in English and learn more about the words. I really love to read the Book of Mormon because every time when I read it, I noticed that it always teach me and answer my questions in my mind. When I read the Book of Mormon, I feel really good. I truly know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and is true. I miss all of you so much. and do not forget that I love you all! See you next week!

(The 9th week) Transfer week & Merry Christmas in July!!!!

Merry Christmas everyone! It was so weird to had the Christmas in July, isn't it? Brother Joseph (ward missionary leader) wanted to make Christmas party in July because it's winter and it's extremely cold here!, so we did join him and it was so fun. We sang, shared spiritual thoughts + scriptures, and had dinner together. I really loved Christmas in July. Anyway, it was so sad because two of us, Elder King & Sister Strigen(?) finished their mission. I miss them so much. They both are really good missionaries and also my good friends. This week is the transfer week! However, I will still be here in Ropes Crossing! YAY! I love being here to serve everyone.

Last Wednesday, I went to visit Sarafian family and had lunch with them. One of them(mother) is a Thai. She cooked Thai food which was green curry for me and it was so yummy!!! They all are really nice to me. Oh my gosh! I miss Thai food so much!. Their son, Brother Koa showed us his magic tricks. He is so good at it. Just like a professional magician (I want to upload the videos of him but I couldn't do it here) Anyway, it was so awesome and I had a lot of fun with them.

Last Thursday, I traded off with an Elder from Hassall Grove ward to serve in my area. He taught me a lot to invite people by knocking the door. It was so scary for me because we don't even know who is behind the door and I wouldn't understand what they would say. But God helped me a lot to understand what they said. I got one investigator and I'm going back to visit them next Thursday! It was so cool eh. I promise you that if you trust in God, believe that He will help you. I know that He will exactly help you. All of you! No matter what He will be there for you because He loves you. I testify that God lives and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is God's church on earth today. Do not forget to PRAY always! I miss and love you all! Hurrah for Israel!!!

LOVE you heaps,

(The 8th week) The week of activities!

Hello! July!! I wish this month would be full of sunshine but... it's still so cold to me. This week, there were many activities, zone training, ward activity, and fire side at church. I had a lot of fun! I really love going to the activities of the church and have fun with all of members. This week was still awesome. I got an investigator from a member at church on Sunday. A member just brought him to church on Sunday and told us to take care of him. After church meeting, we asked him to meet again sometimes and he said yes! that was so sweet! I love to be a missionary, I love to pray, I love reading the scriptures, I love to serve people, and I know that as we give our times to God, God will give us blessings back more than we could imagine. The miracles always happen to me. I truly know that those miracles are from God, our Heavenly Father. And this week, I got a blessing to cook Thai food. I've never thought that I could find the things to cook Thai food here. It was so great! Missionaries loved my food. I miss Thailand too much, so much, very much right now....(Bird Thongchai's song) I cannot wait to go back and enjoy with all of friends there! and I love all of you. Don't forget to email me : Praphon@myldsmail.net
